Employment Opportunity: Football Administrator (Australian Rules Football), Tigers Football District

The Tigers Football District is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join their team as the Football Administrator.  This position is located within the vibrant and successful environment of the Claremont Football Club and will be responsible for the effective administration and support of junior football and the District Council within the Tigers Football District.

Applicants should be prepared to be actively involved in all participation activities and develop administration excellence within the district.  Key responsibilities will include:

  • Communication with Junior Football Clubs
  • Junior Football Registration Administration
  • Minute taking and communication
  • Assisting with Football events
  • Working closely with Volunteer Leaders and Community Football Stakeholders.

This position is part time (22.5 hrs per week) and comes with a flexible approach to working hours which can be negotiated with the successful applicant. The successful applicant will receive a competitive remuneration package as well as the opportunity to work in Australia's premier sporting industry.

Essential selection criteria include:

  • Strong administration skills
  • Well developed organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to interact confidently with groups of participants and stakeholders.
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
  • Computer literacy (Office Suite).
  • Able to work after usual business hours and occasionally on weekends as required.

Desirable selection criteria include:

  • Understanding of Fox Sports Pulse.
  • Knowledge of the Junior Football and the WA Football structure.
